The drama between Denise Julia, BJ Pascual, and Killa Kush (real name Acushla Obusan) simmered down after Christmas, but appeared to be far from over as the OPM singer made a cryptic remark against the celebrity photographer and content creator in the teaser of her new song.
The singer-songwriter uploaded a snippet of her new track “Baddie” on her social media platforms on Monday, January 6, while showing a peek of herself at the recording booth. She, however, didn’t reveal the date of its release.

Article continues after this advertisementThe feud between Denise, Pascual, and Obusan made headlines last December after the celebrity photographer revealed in the content creator’s “Bad B*tch Bible” podcast that the singer-songwriter is the “worst celebrity” he ever worked with, alleging unprofessionalism and non-compliance with the payment of expenses with a shoot.
Obusan also echoed Pascual’s recollections of working with the singer-songwriter — as the “NVMD” singer also appeared in the same year — while alleging that the latter failed to show up on time during filming and had to shoulder the overtime expenses.
This erupted into a word war and an exchange of screenshots between the involved parties on social media during Christmas. It then culminated in Denise eyeing to take legal action against Obusan for making “twisted narratives” against her. The singer-songwriter also revealed that she’s in contact with her legal team regarding a possible defamation suit against the celebrity photographer.
