Dennis Trillo is overwhelmed with gratitude amid the praises and accolades for his Metro Manila Film Fest (MMFF) 2024 movie “Green Bones,” declaring that this is the “best moment of [his] career.”

Trillo, who won the MMFF 2024 best actor award for his performance in the film, described the current phase of his career as a “dream come true,” via his Threads page on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

“Hindi ko akalain na sa tagal ko nang artista ay ngayon ko lamang masasabi ito (I cannot believe that I would say this after years of being an actor). This is probably the best moment of my career as an actor,” he said.

Aside from Trillo’s Best Actor win, “Green Bones” also won five more awards, namely Best Picture, Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Ruru Madrid, Best Screenplay for Ricky Lee and Angeli Atienza, Best Cinematography for Neil Daza, as well as the Best Child Performer award for Sienna Stevens.
